Policies:
Dress code:
All combination classes need to wear
Girls: pink tights and a leotard (any color). Skirts and legwarmers are optional, but may be any color. Pink ballet shoes and black Mary Jane style tap shoes for younger dancers. Hi-heeled or flat tap for older dancers Ms. Jessica will specify. Boys: T Shirt (white preferred) and comfortable pants (black preferred) and black ballet shoes and flat tap shoes. Jazz/hip-hop classes need loose, comfortable clothes. Jazz shoes or sneakers. Bring clean dry shoes if the weather is wet to keep our floors clean. No bare midriffs, jeans, or low-cut clothes allowed.
Dance shoes are required. They may be obtained at DanceWears Inc. or Bobbies Dancewear.
Required shoes are as follows:
Child Ballet ages(2.5-9)- pink full sole ballet shoes
Child Tap (ages 3-9) -black "Mary Jane" style
Ages 9 and up Ballet- split sole ballet shoes
Ages 9 and up Tap- black heels or black flats as specified by Ms. Jessica
Jazz / hip hop - clean comfortable sneakers or black jazz shoes - Ms. Jessica will specify recital footwear in the spring
Just Dance - clean sneakers or ballet shoes - Ms. Jessica will specify recital footwear in the spring
Winter Weather Policy
We follow the Lincoln Public School (LPS) cancellation policy for winter weather. If LPS cancels classes and/or activities due to winter weather we will also close.
If the weather turns bad later in the day, Ms. Jessica will notify parents of cancellation by preferred method of contact (i.e. phone or email) 1 hour prior to class.
